This morning I thought I’d treat you with a sneak peek of a few photographs taken at Sunday’s engagement photo session with the super lovely Olivia and Adria who are both absolutely gorgeous and so much fun!

Olivia and Adrian are getting married in a few months at the super stunning Cannizaro House in Wimbledon in a few months which really will be such a wonderful day – can’t wait!!

Southbank was the location for this photo session which is a location where I really love to photograph, especially in the sunshine!  With such iconic London landmarks in every direction being appreciated by lots of tourists and a few Londoners, there really is such a great buzz about the place.

Our engagement photo sessions really are a lot of fun and it is a wonderful way for our couples to meet our cameras before the big day as well as for us to work with them to show that they can be comfortable about being in front of the camera and they look really amazing.

Here is another blog feature on the photography work we have been doing for Endurance Sports Car over in Belgium covering the 6 hours of Spa WEC race last week.  Friday morning was Free Practice for the teams and Qualifier was in the afternoon.

Spa-Francrochamps is one of the most challenging race tracks in the world, mainly due to its fast, hilly and twisty nature and really does have some great places to photograph from. During these sessions I photographed the cars from Eau Rouge, Raidillion, Kemmel and the inside of La Source and was even blessed with a few rays of sunshine which really did enhance the vibrancy of the pictures.

My favourite spot to photograph from was inside of La Source where the drivers approach at great speed then brake very hard for the hairpin and turn so tightly, literally skimming the barrier that I’m behind (which is no more than a meter thick) so it seems like they are aiming straight for you, it really is exhilarating stuff – the Porsche pic below was taken there!

Between the practice and qualifier, we spent time in the pit lane and garages interviewing and photographing the drivers and you’ll recognise Rebellion drivers Harold Primat and Neel Jani, Aston Martin’s Adrian Fernandez (yup, with a teddy!?!) and a couple of the Audi fellers Allan McNish, Andre Lotterer and Marcel Fässler.

Also got a picture of the FIA World Endurance Championship CEO Gérard Neveu as he was en route to the paddock.

We’ve been over in Belgium photographing the World Endurance Championships at Spa Francorchamps for the wonderful bunch at Endurance Sports Car and am excited to be blogging these photographs for you to see.

For those of you that follow WEC, you’d recognise some of the faces in the photos: Audi’s Leena Gade speaking with Benoît Tréluyer, Piers Phillips the Strakka Team Manager and Technical Director deep in thought after their car hit the barrier in the practice session.  More of the Audi people including Loïc Duval, Andre Lotterer, Oliver Jarvis, Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, Tom Kristensen, as well as Aston Martin’s Darren Turner (looking slightly bemused!), JRM Racing’s David Brabham and Karun Chandhok.

The race track really is a wonderful place to be with so much going on.  At the circuit I have trackside and pit lane access which I find provides me with such wonderful challenges as a photographer.  One minute you can be at the side of the circuit, carefully panning your camera with the fast cars zooming by to capture the speed in the picture, then shortly after in the pit lanes changing the photography style to focus on people.

I love being in the pit lane (not only because I get to wear my very own orange and black fire proof suit!) but also because I get to see what is going on the behind the scenes and soak up the hectic atmosphere of the place.

Seeing the mechanics work laboriously, with great speed and efficiency for such long periods of time and more often than not with minimal sleep.  The air filled with car fumes, the commentary on the tannoy drowned out by the machinery being operated in the garages and the engines being pushed to their limits of the cars on the circuit.  Cars pulling in for pit stops, the team bosses carefully analysing the data displayed on screens and briefing their drivers.

This collection is in black and white which I feel really lends itself well to the documentary style of photography that I love doing in the pit lane, but of course have included a few from the track for you.  I really hope that through my photograph you can feel the buzz and excitement from the track.

A big hello to you all from the UK.  Apologies a few weeks of silence on the blog, the last few weeks have been a wonderfully hectic whirl wind of travel throughout the States and Europe for some brilliant photo shoots and of course rather a lot of fun has been had in the process!

This does mean that I have loads of great photos to be sharing with you from these recent adventures which I’m looking forward to doing.  Also, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes and have some SUPER BIG news for Juliet Lemon Photography which I am extremely excited about sharing with you very, very soon watch this space!!

Today’s post of a selection of photographs taken in Belgium last week for another great photographic assignment for Endurance Sports Car, covering the World Endurance Championships at the world renowned Spa Francorchamps.

Here are a few photos from the super lovely Rosanna & Blake’s engagement shoot in Kingston-Upon-Thames.  We went for a reportage and documentary style approach to this shoot which lends itself well to the black and white finish.

These engagement shoots that we do with our soon-to-be-married couples are such a great way for them to meet our cameras before the big day and they can also give them the chance to get used to being relaxed and comfortable in front of the lens.

Rosanna and Blake were such a pleasure to photograph, they pottered around whilst having a giggle and we unobtrusively snapped away, leaving the happy couple to it!

Not having been to Kingston before, the happy couple enjoyed the beautiful views along the River Thames, then we went over to the market place where they wondered around the stalls.

They are getting married this weekend and the stunning Osterley Park in Isleworth which we are so excited about photographing for them.

Wanted to give you all a cheeky sneak peek of a few photographs from yesterday’s Lifestyle Studio Shoot with Arbonne’s Executive National Vice President Iain Pritchard.

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Iain who was incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and the studio lights.

Iain got in touch about this shoot a few days ago because he needed to get some up to date  photos in time for when he is over in Las Vegas at the end of the month for Arbonne’s Global Training Conference.  There he will be presenting at the GTC in front of an audience of over 10,000 people and behind him on the big screen pics from this shoot will be there for everyone to see.

Of course we’ll be doing part 2 of this Lifestyle Shoot in Las Vegas – can’t wait!!

Here are a few photographs from the super lovely newly weds, Ulrika and David.  They got married at Warren House in Kingston-upon-Thames and it really was such a great day for them and their guests.

Warren House really is a great venue for wedding photography and with the stunning weather and gorgeous couple we really were in our element!

With the champagne flowing really well in the sunshine, the day was a real giggle.  In the evening the party really got going when Abba took to the stage!

Hello from the wonderful world of weddings and today we are delighted to be sharing some of the photographs from Denis & Victoria’s beautiful wedding day from a few weeks ago.

We were so fortunate to have clear blue sky and sunshine on the day as well as snow on the ground from the recent blizzard – yup, the ever so unpredictable British weather strikes again!

They got married in St Barnabas Church in Molesey, Surrey then everyone bundled into a big red London bus to the reception venue down the road at Oatlands Park Hotel in Weybridge.

It really was such a wonderful day filled with lots of fun and giggles and some really memorable things of the day: Sylvanian families ring holders (I haven’t seen these for years!!), a brilliant camper van with a fun sign, lots of pints of Guinness thanks to the Irish contigenet over for the wedding, ginger bread men, the secret recipe for chilli con carne, brilliant speeches and very impressive moves on the dance floor till the early hours!!

I’m very fortunate because I get to meet and work with incredible people which is why I’m so excited about showing you some of these photographs from the recent London Lifestyle Photo Shoot with Arbonne’s Executive National Vice President Gordon Fraser.

We had a lot of fun taking photographs in the sunshine (an incredible 24 degrees C for March!!) with the River Thames and the City of London as our backdrop, with the assistance of Ann – great ‘flashing’ hun!!

It was wonderful incorporating the iconic scenes and features of our beautiful capital into the pictures and we even got a visit from the Queen whilst on Millennium Bridge!

This shoot is one of two (although hopefully more to be added!) so with London done, the next shoot will be in LAS VEGAS at the end of April which of course is SUPER EXCITING STUFF!  Perhaps Elvis will pop by to say hi whilst we’re shooting there!  Enjoy x

Yup, more car action to report about from us at Juliet Lemon Photography.  Yesterday was the first race of the season for the British Touring Car Championships at Brands Hatch where we were photographing the on and off track action for The Sun Online.  This is our fourth year snapping away for the bunch at The Sun Online and we LOVE IT!!

It was such a brilliant day at the circuit, great to catch up with the drivers and their teams and this year we’re following former BTCC champion Jason Plato who piloted his Triple 8-run MG6 for the first time in the championships.  He finished fourth and third in the first two races and had an amazing drive in the third race where he came from sixth place through to victory!  Really great to see him on the podium and celebrating with his family and team.  Have a peek at the full story at The Sun Online here.

There was also a lot of bumping and shunting between the cars on the circuit in all 3 races resulting in a lot of on track carnage.  The most impressive on track incident of the day was a spectacular crash involving BTCC Driver Nick Foster where he lost control of his BMW coming out of Druids hairpin and the skidded across the track, onto the grass verge, smacked into a tyre barrier and rolled over – here is the full story and slideshow on The Sun Online.  Thankfully Nick was unscathed from the crash and great work done by all the marshals who all worked incredibly hard.  I was right there to capture the action and thanks to my great twitter community, got told that I’d made it on telly!  See if you can spot me in this footage (I’m the stealth female tog in the yellow t-shirt)!

Here are a few photos from Sunday (including one that videographer Mark Clews snapped of me on the grid with Andy Neate’s lovely grid girl Rachelle) - I really hope that through them you can really see what a brilliant day out the British Touring Car Championships is.  I would highly recommend getting along to see it live in action, take your friends and family, it really is the perfect way to spend a Sunday!  Enjoy x
