In the run up to the legendary Le Mans 24 hour race the two scrutineering sessions are held at Place de la République in the city centre. The cars are checked to ensure that they adhere to the ACO FIA regulations and the drivers can get the final bits of pre-race paperwork done. The driver and team photos are also done in the picturesque square and hordes of people flock to see the cars and drivers.
Hope you enjoy the behind the scenes photos from the scrutineering sessions – some rather interesting facial expressions from some of the drivers, other looking bemused whilst others a tad confused. This is also the Le Mans debut for the Nissan Delta Wing.
