Introducing the newlyweds Holly and Ross who got married yesterday at the super stunning Hartsfield Manor set in leafy Surrey. Their day was absolutely brilliant and we had such a MEGA time doing their wedding photography that there was no other option than to share their photographs with you all IMMEDIATELY!!!
Despite the call for an emergency plumber to fix a leaky pipe and prevent the ceiling from collapsing – which I must say was handled in such a super calm way by the bridesmaids……top marks girlies – it was was ever so chilled at the girls’ place. Tea, toast and champagne were the fuels of choice for the girlies and once everyone was dressed and ready we took lots of fun and pretty pictures outside. Whilst doing so, we did hear the ‘clip clop’ of horses hooves but no one really put two and two together until the bride returned to the house and looked out from the front room so see the surprise that the Groom had organized… white-plumed horses and carriage to take her to the wedding venue!!! It was such an unexpected surprise, ( Ross had organised this 7 months prior and had been keeping secret from her for all this time!!!) that it brought quite a few tears to her eyes……..ahhhhhhh!!!
So much thought, time and effort had gone into their day, from the favours on the tables to the tree which people could tie their lovely messages of congratulations to. The flowers for the wedding were exquisite and the beautiful Bride had to take full credit for that because she did them herself – how wonderful!!
Before the ceremony we also caught up with the boys for a few snaps and had a real giggle photographing the Groom giving his very large entourage a succinct briefing of the order of the day. By this time the clouds had cleared and we were presented with an absolutely gorgeous blue sky with a few white, fluffy clouds……..exactly what we had ordered!
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and as Ross shared with everyone later on in his speech, he was absolutely blown away by how stunning his Bride looked as she walked down the aisle and we definitely agree with that!
The reception was a real giggle; everyone guzzled champagne and Peroni beer and mingled in the grounds of the Manor in the sunshine. From the Groom and his gang jumping around and busting out rather interesting super hero poses, a romantic trip in the horse drawn carriage for the couple (btw, think you’ll have to agree that the pics we took of them look rather similar to a pic of the Royals on their wedding day!!!) to a totally hectic confetti throwing action from the guests there was loads going on and everyone was smiling throughout 🙂
The rest of the day was great – super yum meal, hilarious speeches with spectacles, funny and rather embarrassing photos of the groom and a guitar, witty comments from the flower girl (“Mummy will be impressed!!!”), lots of booze, a surprise slideshow for the guests (yup, that was us!) and great shapes on the dance floor with lots of credit going to the ushers……golly those boys have some moves!
Really hope that you enjoy having a peek at a few pics from their wedding day because it was FAB!! x
Here is a big shout out to all the great suppliers, who helped Holly and Ross have an absolutely incredible day 🙂
