So now the final instalment of the World Endurance Championships at Sebring, Florida where I was photographing for Endurance Sports Car.
Sun rise in the paddock, cars doing their practice laps bathed in the early morning light, the grid swamped with spectators before the start of the race, the Sebring Cows, Patrick Dempsey, a couple of Orange Men, an ORANGE TRACTOR, friendly cops, flowing tequila, St Patricks Day celebrations, friendly marshals and spectators, the excitement and build up to the start of the race, grabbing a great spot to shoot from at turn 1, lots of climbing over fences and up scaffolding, 12 great hours of car racing, lumping all my not-so-light camera gear around, the buzz of the pit lane, the sea of people in part fermé for the presentations where Tom Kristensen was loving the orange juice!!
22 long but brilliant hours shooting at the circuit, I really hope that you enjoy these photos x
