How experienced are you at photographing safari weddings?
With nearly two decades of experience as a full-time wedding photographer and a deep-rooted connection to the safari world, I bring a unique blend of expertise to safari weddings. Having managed lodges and led safaris, I understand the rhythm of the wild and how to capture its beauty effortlessly. I’ve photographed breathtaking safari weddings across Botswana’s floodplains, the beaches of Malawi and South Africa, and the sand dunes of Namibia and the UAE. Beyond capturing stunning portraits, I love weaving the raw beauty of nature and wildlife into my imagery, creating a truly unforgettable visual story for my couples.

Will you be at our wedding location before the big day?
Absolutely! I’ll most likely arrive at least a day before to ensure I’m fully prepped, rested & ready for what will be an incredible (and long!) wedding day. If you’re planning any pre-wedding celebrations or activities, like a welcome dinner, game drives or sunset drinks, I can capture those too—just let me know!

Can we do an engagement shoot before the wedding?
Of course—and it’s something I always recommend! An engagement shoot is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and see how we work together before the big day. If being photographed feels a little awkward, this session will put you at ease while capturing some gorgeous, natural photos in a location that means something to you both. Plus, it’s a brilliant way to soak up the excitement of your wedding ahead & make it all feel even more real!

How does booking you for our safari wedding work?
It would be an absolute honour! We’ll start with a video call so you can share all your exciting plans & we can get to know each other. Once you're ready to lock things in, a £500 deposit secures your date in my diary, and we’ll get all travel plans booked. Then, you’re all set—one less thing to think about, and all the fun to look forward to!

What’s included in your safari wedding photography package?
You’ll get me, my cameras & all my expertise, capturing every incredible moment of your wedding! After the big day, I’ll work my magic in post-production, sending you a beautiful sneak peek shortly after, so you can relive the magic straight away. Then, a few weeks later, you’ll receive 600+ fully edited, high-resolution images—gorgeous, vibrant & ready to be cherished forever.

How do travel & accommodation costs work for a safari wedding?
You’ll cover these, and I’m totally flexible in fitting in with what works best for you—whether that’s hitching a lift with your guests or hopping on a flight. Being a seasoned traveller, I’m great at travel logistics, so we’ll chat and figure out the best plan to keep things smooth & seamless!

With over 20 years of experience in the safari world and extensive time spent in remote wilderness, I know exactly how to work safely, calmly & in harmony with the surroundings. Thoughtful planning, clear communication & seamless collaboration with the lodge and safari guides ensure everything flows smoothly—so you can enjoy every moment while I capture the magic of your wedding in one of the most breathtaking settings on earth.

Can you photograph additional events, like game drives, sundowners & post-wedding celebrations?
I totally understand how a safari wedding dosen’t have to be just one day. You’ll have friends traveling in from near and far to celebrate you and make the most of the epic destination. Having fabulous activities to enjoy like horse riding, game drives to spot wildlife, hotair balloon rides, alfresco dinners or sundowner drinks by the banks of the hippo pool bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. I can be there to capture all these special moments for you all.
